As Bantu becomes the go-between for the two would-be lovers, he learns to appreciate "Mrityu"'s beauty and grace, and he begins to share his friend's infatuation with her.

While delivering food in a forest area in Andhra Pradesh, impoverished Narasimha is held against his will by a band of Naxalites led by Velu, and forced to join them.
