Happy Hour is a sitcom that debuted on Fox in the United States and on CTV in Canada on September 7, 2006. The show starred John Sloan as Henry Beckman, a young man rebuilding his life after losing his girlfriend, his job, and his apartment. The series was produced by married duo Jackie and Jeff Filgo of That '70s Show. Fox put the show on hiatus in September 2006, and officially canceled it the following May. Thirteen episodes of Happy Hour were made, of which four have aired and nine remain unaired.
Twenty Good Years is a short-lived American sitcom created by Michael J. Leeson and Marsh McCall, and starring John Lithgow and Jeffrey Tambor as mismatched friends—impulsive surgeon John Mason and widower judge Jeffrey Pyne—who decide to live life to the fullest after realizing they only have 'twenty good years' left. Thirteen episodes were produced, with an NBC premiere of October 11, 2006; however, due to low ratings, it was canceled after only four episodes and replaced by a block of specials. The unaired episodes have never been released, and only the pilot can be found online.

Going Straight is a BBC sitcom which was a direct spin-off from Porridge, starring Ronnie Barker as Norman Stanley Fletcher, newly released from the fictional Slade Prison where the earlier series had been set. It sees Fletcher trying to become an honest member of society, having vowed to stay away from crime on his release. The title refers to his attempt, 'straight' being a slang term meaning being honest, in contrast to 'bent', i.e., dishonest. Also re-appearing was Richard Beckinsale as Lennie Godber, who was Fletcher's naĂŻve young cellmate and was now in a relationship with his daughter Ingrid. Her brother Raymond was played by a teenage Nicholas Lyndhurst. Only one series, of six episodes, was made in 1978. It attracted an audience of over 15 million viewers and won a BAFTA award in March 1979, but hopes of a further series had already been dashed by Beckinsale's premature death earlier in the same month.
