Sotiris, the president of Ano Latini, goes to Athens to get information about the project of expropriation for the construction of a military airport in the village. Dimitroula, president's daughter, is in love with Vangelis, an aircraftsman, who serves his duty in Athens. When Vangelis learns that a wealthy villager asked to marry his girlfriend, he goes to the village with his friend Kanellos, to find out what's happening. Kanellos is a naive hotel concierge who wears a fancy uniform, making everyone in the village believe that he is a Wing Commander.

Oh, Mr. Porter!

Vienna, 1951. Ferdinand Godai is a professor of operetta at the Academy. Disguised as a porter for a costume party, he ends up in a drunken mood at the South Station. Ferdinand falls in love with the sweet Gabi, who turns out to be a new colleague at the Academy. A series of adverse circumstances force him to continue his complicated double life as a fake porter and a genuine professor. Lischka, who becomes increasingly annoyed by his "colleague's" clumsiness, is also drawn into the confusion. Only Gabi sees through the deception and even contributes to its escalation in order to teach her beloved professor-porter a lesson in womanizing.

Phyllis is finally kidnapped and Cosmo decides the act was committed by one of the two gangs. He has her father place an ad in the newspaper that contact has been made with the kidnappers. Each gang thinks the other is pulling a double cross, and one gang wipes out the other.
