When our heroes aren't out rescuing people, or being rescued themselves, they spend their time in 'The Old Goat' pub - a place of great warmth and camaraderie, where people come in for a quick pint and never want to leave. Alice is an American sitcom television series that ran from August 31, 1976 to March 19, 1985 on CBS. The series is based on the 1974 film Alice Doesn't Live Here Anymore. Family Affair is an American sitcom that aired on CBS from September 12, 1966 to September 9, 1971. Davis' traditional English gentleman's gentleman, Mr. Giles French, also had adjustments to make as he became saddled with the responsibility of caring for 15-year-old Cissy and the 6-year-old twins, Jody and Buffy. The show ran for 138 episodes. Family Affair was created and produced by Don Fedderson, also known for My Three Sons and The Millionaire.
