Alicia Machado stars as the protagonist. As of August 26, 2013, UniMás is broadcasting La Madame weeknights at 10pm/9c, replacing Clorofomo.

The theme song called "Para Siempre" is sung by Vicente Fernández. The telenovela received TVyNovelas Award for Best Telenovela, in 2009.
