Overview

Three friends, Dono, Kasino, and Indro, open a restaurant because of Dono’s cooking expertise. There are situational jokes in the restaurant: the scary food critic who instead gives a good review; Indro and Susan, the cashier, who play around with the security guard’s handcuffs until they have to go around together, which annoys Indro’s girlfriend. There’s also gym humour when Henny, a stewardess friend of Dono, teaches him. And of course, there are jokes among the three friends.

With the help of his friends, Dono's kidnapping plays were arranged by real villains, Mata Satu (S. Parya) who happened to be an acquaintance of Indro. Criminals ask for a ransom from Dewo Sastro, which is enough to buy a car. But by Mata Satu, the ransom requested is far greater than originally agreed. Dono was even kidnapped real and really would be killed if his request was not granted. But Dewo Sastro still doesn't want to redeem Dono. Forced by Kasino, Indro and his female friends tried to save Dono. Later Dewo Sastro actually presented a luxury car to Dono because he had succeeded in arresting Mata Satu.

Under the guise of trying to resolve the pest problem, Dono convinces them to all leave the house. In the meantime, he has arranged a tryst with a young woman he has just recently met and hopes to get to know better while he has the house to himself. However, because his friends and their girlfriends don’t understand what is really going on, all of Dono’s efforts come to naught.

But secretly, Kasino admires a girl, whose picture he sees for the first time in a magazine. When Dono takes a night shift, he has to repair Marina's broken car. The event upsets Kasino since the bill remains unpaid. Unexpectedly, Marina moves into the dormitory where Dono and friends live. Kasino is shocked, for Marina is the woman he admires all this time. Kasino always chats with Marina, but the lucky guy is Dono. Marina, who is visited by her grandparents for marriage with another man, admits to them that she is already married to Dono. Some comedy elements are included such as Indro, who pretends to have a twin, and Dono, who participates in a women’s football match.

Dono and friends are forced to flee the island when the chief decides they have to marry his daughters. Back at home, Dono meets up with Merry (Fortunella). As usual, Dono and Kasino, along with Indro and Merry, Winny (Kiki Fatmala) and Nia (Sally Marcelina) end up on the beach surrounded by lovely young women in bikinis. The relationships of these three pairs are extremely volatile. Suddenly, as man dressed in Arab garb, accompanied by bodyguards, shows up claiming that Merry has been designated as his wife in an arranged marriage. Kasino defeats the bodyguards, who end up in the hospital. The comedic scenes then shift to the hospital and eventually back to the trio’s home again before the film’s end.

As usual, this comedy featuring Dono, Kasino and Indro is more driven by a series of comedic skits than a unified storyline. This story, built around the three comedians, also features two beautiful young women, Linda (Sally Marcelina) and Christin (Nurul Arifin), who have been talked into moving from their dormitory to stay with the trio at their house. Linda is Kasino’s girlfriend, while Christin is dating Indro. Initially this comedy depicts the three friends appearing on a television program. Then the producer, who promises them more screen time, talks them into judging a beach beauty contest, so the film setting jumps to the beach. While there, the potential beauty queens attempt to seduce the three men. Linda and Christin, who are very angry at this, plan revenge against the three friends. The film then moves to an island where a film shoot is going on.

The managing of the hotel becomes fodder for the comedy: a female guest who turns out to be the younger sibling of the room renter; Dono who really likes rats; a dead person in the hotel; a sleepwalking guest, etc.

On a holiday, Indro, Susan and Henny go on a camping trip. Kasino, who brings Vera along, has initiated this trip. Lola brings along Dono. She is actually after Indro while Dono is after her. Vera, who believes that Indro is a film director, goes after him. More misunderstandings occur until Kasino’s lie is finally exposed. Then Kasino tries to chase another girl, this time is in a restaurant. But the girl, Julia, already has a boyfriend, Tony, a thug. Unfortunately, it is Indro who becomes the boyfriend’s jealous target. Indro is followed wherever he goes and it makes him paranoid. Dono and Kasino suggest that he hides in a coffin and they would announce that he is dead. At first, Tony believes this, but he wants to prove it himself. Luckily, Julia comes to give an explanation so Indro is rescued from his predicament.

The quasi-skilled Kasino tries to install an abstract painting on the wall of Mr. Us Us’ house where he stays. The plaster wall is damaged. Afraid of Mr. Us Us’ wrath, Kasino, Dono, Indro, Marina, and Anita try to lie to Mr. Us Us but he finds out. They are scolded and ordered to repair the wall at once. The comedy continues with the arrival of Dono’s grandfather from the village. Dono has lied to his grandfather that he has become a doctor, but the latter knows his bad habits. Then Anita wants to test her boyfriend’s love, and asks Dono to pretend to be her boyfriend during a party. Unfortunately, Dono’s silly acts annoy Anita. When Indro’s food recipe is entered for a competition, which allows only women, Dono is forced to dress like a woman. Dono wins the competition but the prize is anulled once Dono’s identity is discovered. Dono protests by asking to take home the competition food. The committee refuses and a cake-throwing war ensues.

Featuring the Warkop DKI group, Dono, Kasino, and Indro live in the same boarding house as Lisa and Selly. After reading the answers of a magazine quiz, Indro wonders if one of the girls in the boarding house is in love with him. After many jokes and funny situations, it turns out to be just a misunderstanding. Kasino himself is having terrible luck when, by mistake, a bank employee gives him more money that he has asked for. He intends to return the money but has to go through many comic situations and obstacles. Then it is Dono’s turn, who has a Caucasian girlfriend, to go through similar obstacles.

Dono, who's good at cooking, applies to many restaurants for work but is always rejected. Meanwhile, Indro and Kasino are only concerned with chasing girls in funny ways, and they always fail. Then Anita, upon the arrival of her father, suddenly disappears without leaving a note to her friends. Kasino looks for her, but he is instead arrested by a woman officer he previously seduced. The police arrest Indro after he breaks a public telephone. The film’s comedy stems from misunderstanding and odd situations. The other formula is sex via Eva Arnaz and Lydia Kandou who always wear mini short pants and tight t-shirts.
