Turuleca doesn’t lay eggs because her hidden talent is another: she talks, she sings and she dances, giving it her all. Turu, the Wacky Hen is a full-color, animated party that invites us to move our bodies to its musical numbers, making us sing verses that have the power to turn us into children once again, if only for a little while.

A mad scientist invented a new weapon of mass destruction and offered it to the god of war. The animation was shot in the genre of political satire. The visual solution of the tape proposed by the artist Henrikh Umanskyi is reminiscent of the films of the German expressionist cinema of the 1920s, in particular the legendary film "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" (1920). There, too, the main character was a mad scientist, and the events unfolded in distorted scenery that emphasized the state of insanity.

The first Greek animated film was shot by the cartoonist Stamatis Polenakis (1908-1997) with the title "The Duce tells...". The seven-minute "Mickey-Mouse-style" film, as its creator mentions in the credits, satirizes the Italian invasion of Greece on October 28, 1940, and especially Mussolini, who recounts his exploits, but reality constantly contradicts him. Stamatis Polenakis, one of the leading Greek cartoonists of the 20th century and a pioneer of animation in our country, began drawing the sketches for the film in 1942 in his hometown, Sifnos, where he had taken refuge during the Occupation. He worked under the boot of the Italian conqueror, risking arrest. The film was lost during the Civil War and it was not until 1980 that a negative was found and restored.
