Melbourne-based Stelarc burst into prominence in the early 1970s with confronting, and outrageous public art performances. Following his mantra that ‘the body is obsolete’ he set about testing the limits of his own body in a series of death-defying stunts. Stelarc has always fought to escape the force of gravity. A third arm, an extra ear, a cheeky prosthetic head and an ambidextrous hand all play parts in this lively biopic as Stelarc wrangles the intersection between humanity and technology.

This documentary is a touching and intimate portrait of André Brasilier, both as a man and as an artist. Presented as a testament to his art, the film focuses on two main aspects: André's connection to his youth and early inspirations, and the evolution of his art. The film pays special attention to his wife Chantal, who was André's muse and who appears in many of his paintings.

This is a 1991 documentary film about the legendary artist and filmmaker, Joseph Cornell, who made those magnificent and strange collage boxes. He was also one of our great experimental filmmakers and once apparently made Salvador Dali extremely jealous at a screening of his masterpiece, Rose Hobart. In this film we get to hear people like Susan Sontag, Stan Brakhage, and Tony Curtis talk about their friendships with the artist. It turns out that Curtis was quite a collector and he seemed to have a very deep understanding of what Cornell was doing in his work.

Lino Tagliapietra, considered by most as the greatest glassblower in history, is a mentor, motivator, and visionary. Bridging the divide between Italian and American glassblowing, Lino's career has transcended continents and inspired a new generation of glassblowers. Now 85, Lino continues to push the boundaries of the medium, testing the limits to see what both the material and the man can do.

I'm Too Sad to Tell You

This short film is part of a mixed media artwork of the same name, which also included postcards of Ader crying, sent to friends of his, with the title of the work as a caption. The film was initially ten minutes long, and included Ader rubbing his eyes to produce the tears, but was cut down to three and a half minutes. This shorter version captures Ader at his most anguished. His face is framed closely. There is no introduction or conclusion, no reason given and no relief from the anguish that is presented.

Using road signs from deoccupied territories, they spell out the phrase "I'M FINE" — a symbol of how people hide their pain and try to persevere despite the circumstances. The sculpture becomes a place for meeting, reflection, and dialogue about war, trauma, and the strength of the Ukrainian spirit, demonstrating how art can become a platform for open conversation about painful experiences.
