Alice in Chains: Live Facelift

Heavy-hitting alternative rockers Alice in Chains serve up their dark guitar-driven music before a hometown crowd in this live video shot at the Moore Theater in Seattle. Along with five live versions of songs from the Facelift album (including "Man in the Box," "Bleed the Freak," and "Love, Hate, Love"), Alice in Chains: Live Facelift also includes three bonus music videos, including "Sea of Sorrow" and "We Die Young."

Winter Days

An animated film based on one of the renku (collaborative linked poems) in the 1684 collection of the same name by the 17th-century Japanese poet Bashō. The creation of the film followed the traditional collaborative nature of the source material – the visuals for each of the 36 stanzas were independently created by 35 different animators. As well as many Japanese animators, Kawamoto assembled leading names in animation from across the world. Each animator was asked to contribute at least 30 seconds to illustrate their stanza, and most of the sequences are under a minute (Yuriy Norshteyn's, though, is nearly two minutes long).

Sirens Call

In their feature-length debut, Gossing/Sieckmann dive into the merfolk subculture with performance artist and siren Una. Genre elements, fiction and documentary, self-care, political activism and self-chosen identities blend into one another.

Wanted by an emperor, inaugurated under the reign of a king (Louis-Philippe) and sanctuarized by the Republic, this patriotic temple polarizes the passions of a whole nation. A historical portrait before "packaging", which teems with anecdotes and unsuspected details.

Estamira

Estamira is a 63-year-old woman who suffers from schizophrenia. She leads a tough life and has supported herself for the past 20 years by picking through garbage at the Jardim Gramacho Disposal Area in Rio de Janeiro. The film follows her starting in 2000, the year she begins treatment in a psychiatric clinic. At first, it is hard to understand her in her stream-of-consciousness sentences, delusions and obsessions. Gradually, however, we get to know her as a woman who can have quiet and lucid moments despite her illness.

Nuklear Zombies

In the year 2047 Ray City has become the refuge for a totally infested world. Max Maker is sent via a landspeeder! to search the jungle for survivors of the nuclear disaster. But what he finds are 'nuclear zombies', which prey on fresh human flesh…
