The Prince's Shadow

The young scholar Gao Sheng (Zheng Shaoqiu), who was proud of his youth, was appreciated by Emperor Yongzheng, and was finally appointed as Hongli, who was later accompanied by Emperor Qianlong. In the Forbidden City, it takes more than 20 years to stay high. It was the emperor's companion, and he also solved the big and small things for Emperor Qianlong. However, Qianlong was jealous of Gaosheng and was outstanding in learning, so Gaosheng did not have an official position, but he was comfortable. The new imperial lady Ruyi (played by Yang Yi) was quite popular with the emperor, but she kept holding on to her humble status and the majesty of the queen.

Strike at Heart

Strike at Heart is a Hong Kong period wuxia television series based on Wen Ruian's novel, A Spear of Alarm produced by TVB. The series stars Joe Ma, Sunny Chan, Stephen Au, Charmaine Sheh, Nnadia Chan and Annie Man. It was filmed in 2004 and released overseas in January 2005. Then it was aired in Hong Kong on TVB Pay Vision's TVB Drama channel from 27 May to 23 June 2009.

Gulf Playhouse is an NBC anthology series that aired on Friday nights. It was a live show that was seen through the "eye" of the camera. The actors in each episode would talk to the camera as if it were a person. The show's sponsor was Gulf Oil, and it was produced and directed by Frank Telford.

Love and Glory

Kazutoyo lived during the end of the Sengoku period (1546-1605). He was the first feudal lord of the fief of Tosa on the island of Shikoku. He served Nobunaga Oda, Hideyoshi Toyotomi and Tokugawa Ieyasu. Chiyo (1557-1617) was his wife, and was known in history for her dedication and devotion to her husband (like Matsu was to Toshiie in Toshiie to Matsu). She is the daughter of a samurai who served the feudal lord Asai.

North of 60 is a mid-1990s Canadian television series depicting life in the sub-Arctic northern boreal forest. It first aired on CBC Television in 1992 and was syndicated around the world. It is set in the fictional community of Lynx River, a primarily Native-run town depicted as being in the Dehcho Region, Northwest Territories. Most of the characters were Dene. Some non-native characters had important roles: the restaurant/motel owner, the band manager, the nurse and the town's main RCMP officer. The show explored themes of Native poverty, alcoholism, cultural preservation and conflict over land settlements and natural resource exploitation. Originally somewhat light-hearted, it quickly became a more dramatic and ponderous series.

The first series, Above Suspicion, was shown on the fourth and fifth of January 2009; the second series, Above Suspicion: The Red Dahlia, was shown on the fourth, fifth and sixth of January 2010. The third series, Above Suspicion: Deadly Intent, was shown on the third, fourth and fifth of January 2011. The fourth series, Above Suspicion – Silent Scream was shown on the ninth, sixteenth and twenty-third of January 2012; in a break from the previous broadcasts, which were broadcast on consecutive days, this latest tale was serialised weekly. ITV cancelled Above Suspicion on May 28, 2012.
