Big Brother is an Australian reality show based on the international Big Brother format created by John de Mol. Following the premise of other versions of the format, the show features a group of contestants, known as "housemates" who live together in a specially constructed house that is isolated from the outside world. The housemates are continuously monitored during their stay in the house by live television cameras as well as personal audio microphones. Throughout the course of the competition, housemates are evicted from the house - eliminated from the competition. The last remaining housemate wins the competition and is awarded a cash prize.

Rollergirls was a 2006 A&E Network reality show examining the personalities, antics and motivations of the women involved with the Austin, Texas Lonestar Rollergirls roller derby league. The show focused primarily on the lives of Cha Cha and Venis Envy of Las Putas Del Fuego; Punky Bruiser, Miss Conduct, and Sister Mary Jane of the Holy Rollers; Lunatic and Clownsnack of the Hellcats; and Lux of the Rhinestone Cowgirls. Many other skaters were also highlighted. The league, now known as Texas Roller Derby or TXRD, was founded in 2001 and is run as a "skater-owned and operated" company that continues to this day. The five home teams are the Cherry Bombs, Hellcats, Holy Rollers, Las Putas Del Fuego and Rhinestone Cowgirls. Episodes were initially broadcast on Monday nights beginning on January 2, 2006, with repeated showings throughout the week. Rollergirls was produced by Gary and Julie Auerbach, the creators of MTV's Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County. The show ended after one season.

The show first debuted on 13 February 2006, followed by a second season on 4 February 2007 which introduced Michelle Bridges, Shannan Ponton and Steve Willis. The third season began airing on 3 February 2008. A fourth season, which features couples competing as teams, started airing on 1 February 2009. A fifth season, which aired on 31 January 2010, featuring former Olympic swimmer Hayley Lewis as the new host, and in 2011 the show introduced the new trainer Tiffiny Hall.
Nayika Nayakan (transl. Heroine, Hero) is an Indian Malayalam-language reality TV talent show which was broadcast on Mazhavil Manorama channel from 28 May 2018 to 17 October 2018. The show's jury was headed by film director Lal Jose and actors Kunchacko Boban and Samvrutha Sunil. The reality show features 16 young talents, 8 boys, and 8 girls, who aspire to be the next superstars of Mollywood. The reality show had various rounds, both indoor and outdoor, where the contestants were judged for their performances. Many challenging tasks like pursuing real-life characters, enacting popular stories, to taking up risky stunts, the show had it all. On the finale, Shambhu Menon and Darshana S. Nair were declared the winners of the show by Lal Jose and the lead pair for his upcoming Malayalam feature film Solomonte Theneechakal(2022). The runners-up of the show Vincy Aloshious and Addis Antony Akkara were selected to play pivotal roles in the film.
