Starting from the perspectives of beautiful scenery, food, culture, and life, the show uses reality shows to explore the scenery of various places, experience local intangible cultural heritage projects, and feel the local customs and practices. Each episode has a theme for each place, using unique city symbols to fully display the cultural charm of each place to the audience, and firmly establish the foundation of "going there in this lifetime". At the end of each trip, the guests will record what they have seen and heard in handwritten travel notes, and use 12 travel notes to connect the theme of the entire season to tell a complete travel and cultural story.
Pub poet Rui Yoshida, well known from Yoshida Rui no Sakaba Hōrōki, joins HBC announcer Kanako Muroya on this popular travel show touring the port towns of Hokkaido. They visit excellent local eateries frequented by people from the harbor towns, enjoying fresh produce from both land and sea along with plenty of good sake. With their permission, people with eating habit problems are videoed in their home over a week. The subjects do not suspect that private investigators are also following and videoing them elsewhere. At the end of the week, the true amount of what the subjects have eaten is revealed. The subjects are given some days to change their habits, and are brought back, showing considerable weight loss. This drama is intercut with a separate short story where the presenter and food experts test some factor causing overeating.

Hosted by Lisa Ling, the series featured contestants competing in various challenges for a chance to win "a dream job at their dream company". A pilot order for The Job was placed in March 2012 and the series was picked up in May for an expected midseason debut. Michael Davies and Mark Burnett served as executive producers. The series was canceled after two episodes aired.
