THIS IS ME docu-series is an anthology of five 3-5 minute-long TRANSPARENT-inspired documentaries by five different trans and gender-nonconforming filmmakers. Personal essays, direct actions, explainers - each filmmaker has crafted a segment that explores a theme in TRANSPARENT.

Backpacking around New Zealand, filled with epic scenery, unique cultural experiences and amazing outdoor activities everywhere will be an eye opener. Fadhlur and Syarif are to go behind the wheels on a road trip where they will drive from one point to the next destination and they make new friends along the way. Getting closer to nature where camping in the wild and hunting for food source will be a challenge for them in order to understand how the aborigines live. In order to receive instructions and for them to send their mission replies, tablets and social networking sites will be used in order to obtain the budget to the next destination.

Seals battle on the beaches, albatrosses soar on the air currents and a monster movie plays out in miniature among the dense undergrowth of this lush, vital land.

Transgender people from around England undergo life-changing gender-confirmation surgeries performed by Christopher Inglefield. Inglefield is the founder of London Transgender Surgery, a clinic in Central London. When faced with years-long wait times and limited surgical options through the National Health Service, some trans patients turn to private practitioners for care—if they can afford it.

All My Gay Friends Are Getting Married

Sit down for a chat with married gay couples as they talk about their fabulous weddings with one of their good friends. Each couple shares the story of their amazing wedding and some of the incredible guests, locations and themes from their big day.
