Sharpe

Sharpe is a British series of television dramas starring Sean Bean as Richard Sharpe, a fictional British soldier in the Napoleonic Wars. Sharpe is the hero of a number of novels by Bernard Cornwell; most, though not all, of the episodes are based on the books. Produced by Celtic Films and Picture Palace Films for the ITV network, the series was shot mainly in Turkey and the Crimea, although some filming was also done in England, Spain and Portugal. The series originally ran from 1993 to 1997. In 2004, as part of ITV's new set of drama, ITV announced that it intended to produce new episodes of Sharpe, in co-production with BBC America, loosely based on his time in India, with Sean Bean continuing his role as Sharpe. Sharpe's Challenge is a two-part adventure; part one premiered on ITV on 23 April 2006, with part two being shown the following night. With more gore than earlier episodes, the show was broadcast by BBC America in September 2006.

Oh Yeah! Cartoons

Oh Yeah! Cartoons was an American animation showcase that appeared on the Nickelodeon cable channel. Oh Yeah! was an animation project guided by Fred Seibert, former Creative Director of MTV Networks and President of Hanna-Barbera. Produced by Frederator Studios, it ran as part of Nickelodeon's Nicktoons lineup, and in its second season, was hosted by Kenan Thompson of All That and Kenan & Kel fame; Then later by Josh Server, from All That, for its third season. Bill Burnett composed the show's theme music. Oh Yeah! Cartoons was distributed by Nelvana outside of the United States.

Degrassi High

Degrassi High is the third television show in the Degrassi series of teen dramas about the lives of a group of teenagers living on or near De Grassi Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It first aired from 1989 to 1991 and followed the young people from The Kids of Degrassi Street and Degrassi Junior High through high school. The show was filmed in downtown Toronto and at Centennial College. Much like its predecessor, Degrassi High dealt with controversial issues ranging from AIDS, abortion, abuse, alcoholism, cheating, sex, death and suicide, dating, depression, bullying, gay rights, homophobia, racism, the environment, drugs, and eating disorders. The show's impact on Canadian identity is discussed in the September 2007 issue of u're Magazine.

The World in Your Home

The World in Your Home is an NBC Television TV series which aired from December 22, 1944 to 1948, originally broadcast on WNBT, NBC's New York flagship, then broadcast on NBC-affiliate stations WRGB in New York's Capital District and WPTZ in Philadelphia starting shortly after its premiere. The program consisted of educational short films. Each episode was 15 minutes long, and is believed to be one of the first television programs in the history of the NBC Television network. The series aired after I Love to Eat with James Beard in 1946, and after Campus Hoopla in 1947. Little else is known about the series.

King Gimp

King Gimp is a 1999 documentary that was awarded the 2000 Academy Award for Best Short Subject Documentary and 2000 Peabody Award. "King Gimp" followed the life of artist Dan Keplinger of Towson, Maryland, who has cerebral palsy. Filmmakers Susan Hannah Hadary and William A. Whiteford, of the University of Maryland Video Press and Tapestry International Productions produced the film.

Little Memole also known also as Wee Wendy or Tongari Bōshi no Memoru, lit. "Memole Of The Pointed Hat", is a Japanese anime television series produced in the 1980s by Toei Animation. The series centers around a tiny girl named Memole that lands on Earth with 245 inhabitants from the planet Riruru. Memole befriends a human girl named Mariel who is ill and spends time with her. Memole also meets woodland animals and uses an owl named Bo-bo for transport.

Dead Man's Gun

Dead Man's Gun was a western anthology series that ran on Showtime from 1997 to 1999. The series followed the travels of a gun as it passed to a new character in each episode. The gun would change the life of whomever possessed it. Each episode was narrated by Kris Kristofferson. The executive producer was Henry Winkler.

Le Grand Journal

Le Grand Journal is a French nightly news and talk show airing every weekday evening on Canal+. Debuting on August 30, 2004, it was created and hosted by Michel Denisot and in 2013 by Antoine de Caunes. Originally a one-hour program, it expanded to two hours in 2005. Even though the show is broadcast on the premium channel Canal+, this is an unencrypted program. The program features news, talk, weather and comedy. The program is produced by KM Productions for Canal+ and broadcasts from the Studios Rive Gauche on Quai André-Citroën in Paris.
