Game$how Marathon is an American television program which aired on CBS from May 31, 2006 to June 29, 2006. It is based on the UK series Ant & Dec's Gameshow Marathon which aired on ITV in 2005. The show features contestants competing in some of television's most historically popular game shows, in a single-elimination format until an ultimate winner is found. Both the UK and US versions featured celebrity contestants. The US version was produced by FremantleMedia North America and Granada America and was hosted by Ricki Lake and announced by Rich Fields. In the US, the series only aired for a single season, while in the UK a second season aired in 2007, this time entitled Gameshow Marathon and hosted by Vernon Kay. This program was recorded at Stage 46, CBS Television City in Los Angeles, CA, USA.

"Bled Music" is an Algerian musical television program broadcast on ENTV between 1991 and 1992. directed by Aziz Smati and presented by Kamel Dynamite, Farid Rockeur and Samia Benkherroubi. The show, with its irreverent tone, was very popular and had a significant impact on the Algerian music scene, allowing the emergence of many artists including Chaba Fadela, Cheb Sahraoui, Cheb Anouar and Mohamed Lamine. A ranking of music videos by popularity and relied on fans sending their votes by mail. At the end of the 1980s, unrest broke out in Algeria which led the country into a Black Decade. At this time, fundamentalist groups attempted to ban music and most other forms of artistic expression. The show continued to air despite death threats, but on February 14, 1994, Aziz Smati was shot in both legs by a young extremist, which ultimately led to the end of the show .
Boys and Girls was a British television gameshow broadcast in 2003 by Channel 4. The series was produced by Chris Evans through his company UMTV, and was presented by Vernon Kay. Evans only occasionally appeared on screen, usually as the driver of the golf buggy used to ferry the winning contestants off-set at the end of the show. Bands Reunited is a television program produced by VH1 in 2004. Hosted by Aamer Haleem, the show documented an attempted reunion of a formerly popular musical ensemble for a special concert in either London or Los Angeles. A show normally consisted of the crew first hunting down the ex-members of the band one-by-one, and convincing them to agree for the one-time concert; the members were "contracted" by signing a record album by their former band. The band members were then interviewed, usually focusing on the reasons of the breakup. The final segment would consist of the formal reunion of the band in the rehearsing studio, and a joint interview about why the group parted ways. If the reunion was successful, the episode ended with the final performance. In 2005, VH1 attempted to reunite the British band The Smiths, but the show abandoned its attempt after Aamer Haleem was unsuccessful in his attempt to corner lead singer Morrissey before a show.
