A talent search event that produced a boy band in 2019 through the Mnet television channel. This is the 4th season of the Produce 101 franchise. Viewers (referred to as 'national producers') voted online for 11 members from 101 participants from various entertainment companies and individual participants in several elimination rounds. The group concept, group name and debut song are also determined by the audience.

Santos Bravos

Santos Bravos is a Latin American reality series produced by HYBE Latin America to form a new boy band. The program features 16 later 17 contestants from across Latin America, the United States, and Spain, and follows their training and performances in pursuit of a debut lineup. Santos Bravos combines Hybe's structured artist training system with Latin America's cultural and artistic influences. The series follows contestants' growth within the company's global production model.

PRODUCE 101 JAPAN

Japanese entertainment conglomerate Yoshimoto Kogyo and South Korean entertainment company CJ E&M will co-produce “PRODUCE 101 JAPAN”, based on the reality television talent competition franchise popular in South Korea and China. This Japanese spin-off follows 101 trainees with the intention of producing an 11-member boy band, with members selected by viewers.

&AUDITION - The Howling - is a 2022 Japanese and South Korean boy group reality survival show created by HYBE Labels Japan. It premiered on July 9, 2022 and broadcasted every Friday at 11 p.m. KST on Hulu.

Produce 101

Produce 101 (프로듀스 101) is a reality music group survival show on Mnet. It is a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a unit group by choosing members from a pool of 101 trainees from 46 entertainment companies as well as the group's concept, debut song, and group name.

Extreme Debut: Wild Idol

In this unique new survival program format, 45 male trainees will enter an extreme outdoor bootcamp, where they must survive rigorous physical training and reach the "top of the food pyramid" in order to earn a chance at debuting. "Project 7" is an 'assembly, strengthening' audition program that breaks away from the audition format in which viewers mainly participated by voting, directly selecting participants for each round from the first round, forming a new team, and growing their favorite participants through the process. It is a differentiated new concept idol audition program that introduces the concept of "Project 7", a new concept idol assembly reinforcement audition scheduled to be aired on JTBC in October, is open to all 'men who dream of becoming top-tier idols' without restrictions on affiliation, experience, age, nationality, etc

Girls Planet 999

In order to realize their dreams of becoming super idols, girls from China, South Korea, and Japan gather at the [Girl's Planet]. A virtual world where the girls unite as one regardless of their backgrounds. Fans around the world are also connected to this world to witness the birth of a new generation of international girl band. Which of these girls will make it to the global debut?

SIXTEEN

The show pitted sixteen JYP trainees against one another to secure a spot in the girl group Twice. Sixteen contestants were assessed for not only their singing and dancing abilities but also their charisma and personality.

Nizi Project

A joint Girl Group Project “Nizi Project” by JYP and Sony Music. The winners of Season 1 will participate in the survival show for the 2nd Season in the 3rd quarter of 2020 which is hopefully to debut a Japanese Girl Group in December 2020. A Global audition held in 10 locations including 8 cities in Japan, Hawaii and LA Delivered the event of the Tokyo training camp by the members who have passed!

BOYS24

BOYS24 is a 2016 reality boy group unit survival show. It is a large-scale project in which the units of a selected number of members will be produced from a pool of 49 free-agents. 28 trainees, instead of the planned 24, were selected as Boys24 members and were divided into four sub-units who held concerts three to five days a week in rotation for a year. After the 1st Semi-Final, Unit Black debuted as a promotional unit for three months. The final eight winners debuted together on October 26, 2017 as IN2IT.

"Finding Momoland" was a 2016 reality girl group survival show on Mnet. Featuring 10 trainees from Duble Kick Entertainment competing to debut in a girl group called MOMOLAND.

Fantasy Boys: Excitement After School

A South Korean reality competition show created by MBC. The follow up to My Teenage Girl: Excitement After School, but this time featuring male contestants dreaming of becoming idols.

I-LAND

I-LAND (아이랜드) is a South Korean boy group reality survival show produced by Mnet and organized by Belift Lab, which at the time of airing was a joint venture between entertainment companies CJ ENM and HYBE. It premiered on June 26, 2020 and broadcasted every Friday at 11 p.m. KST on Mnet. A second season, I-Land 2, was expected to premiere in the first half of 2022 featuring female trainees; however, on July 15, 2022, it was announced that it would be postponed. Instead in 2023, HYBE partnered with JTBC to produce R U Next? featuring trainees who would debut in Illit, signing with Belift Lab, becoming labelmates with Enhypen. On July 24, 2023, Mnet announced the second season titled I-Land 2: N/⍺, not in affiliation with Hybe or Belift Lab, featuring female trainees. The show started airing in April 2024, and is collaborating with The Black Label, with the final lineup debuting in WakeOne.
