‘Detective Catherine’ (Meitantei Catherine) is a television drama series based on Misa Yamamura’s ‘Catherine Series’ of detective novels. TBS Rino Katase version: A series broadcast on the TBS network from 1996 to 2006. It ran for a total of 15 episodes. The lead role was played by Rino Katase. The series was broadcast in the following time slots: ‘Monday Drama Special’ (Episodes 1–9), ‘Monday Mystery Theatre’ (Episodes 10–14), and ‘Monday Golden’ (Episode 15). TV Asahi Charlotte Kate Fox version: A special drama broadcast on the TV Asahi network on Saturday 5 September 2015 from 21:00 to 23:06. Starring Charlotte Kate Fox. On Sunday 20 March 2016, from 21:00 to 23:10 (in the ‘Sunday Entertainment’ slot), the second installment of the series, ‘Detective Catherine: The Missing Heir’, was broadcast.
