A daughter from a loving family learns that she has two dads when she meets her birth father in the most unexpected way and realizes that the father she knows and respects is actually her stepfather. When she graduated from university, Wang Xiao Mi has already fallen in love with the talk shows industry in China. She manages to impress investor Ke Lei during an open mic session and gets hired for a job. Wang Xiao Mi invites her parents to watch her performance. However, her mom Luo Qing catches a glimpse of Ke Lei who turns out to be her ex-husband that she hasn't seen in twenty years.

Desafío is a reality show in which a number of participants should survive, live together, and compete in 4 different stages, for a big price in money. These contestants are grouped into three teams according to the theme chosen in each season. Social classes, generations, regions of the country and the degree of popularity are the elements used to give identity to these groups. Another one of the characteristics of the Challenge and which encloses the success of this format is that the conditions of life in this competition are not fair. While a group spends its day in a beach house with servants, exquisite delicacies (High Beach), the other group suffers the complete lack of accommodation and food (Low Beach). In this reality, as in real life, the teams would be able to exceed or fall on their comfort levels, depending on the performance in the territorial Challenges.

Beauty and the Geek

A group of "Beauties" and a group of "Geeks" are paired up to compete as couples for a shared $250,000 and other prizes. Each beauty lives together in a room with her geek during the course of the competition. There are challenges shown each episode, one testing the beauties on a primarily academic subject, and another that has the geeks competing in a more popular/social realm. The winners of the challenges select two teams to compete against each other in a pure "quiz show" type question and answer session: the team with fewer correct answers gets eliminated.
