Telecrime

Telecrime was a British drama series that aired on the BBC Television Service from 1938 to 1939 and in 1946. One of the first multi-episode drama series ever made, it is also one of the first television dramas written especially for television not adapted from theatre or radio. Having first aired for 5 episodes from 1938 to 1939, Telecrime returned in 1946, following the resumption of television after World War II, and aired as Telecrimes. A whodunit crime drama, Telecrime showed the viewer enough evidence to solve the crime themselves. Most episodes were written by Mileson Horton. All 17 episodes are lost. Aired live, their preservation was not technically possible at the time.

Undercover Customs

Undercover Customs was a television series produced by Granada Television for ITV which consisted of dramatic reconstructions of some of the largest real-life smuggling incidents based on the official records of HM Customs and Excise in the United Kingdom. The series was presented by Sir Trevor McDonald and was supplemented by genuine surveillance footage and exclusive interviews with the Customs Officers responsible for the investigations of the organised smuggling rings, and also the witnesses and informants who helped crack each case. The 1998 series was Series Produced by Mike Kleinsteuber who also directed two of the programmes.

It is set in Manchester and stars Ralf Little and Carl Rice as Danny and Shay, who leave their office jobs to set up a record label when Danny inherits £10,000 following the death of his grandmother. The series began airing on BBC Three on 14 September 2008.

Ek Mahal Ho Sapno Ka is a Hindi language Indian soap opera that aired on Sony TV. It was the first Hindi fiction series to reach 1000 episodes and is one of the longest television serials ever made in Indian television. The show was also aired in Gujarati on ETV Gujarati called as Sapna Na Vavetar.
