Fame

An American television series originally produced between 1982 and 1987. The show is based on the 1980 motion picture of the same name. With a mixture of drama and music, it followed the lives of the students and faculty at the New York City High School for the Performing Arts. Although fictional, it was based heavily on the actual Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts in New York. Most interior scenes were filmed in Hollywood, California, and in all seasons but the third, several exterior scenes were shot on location in New York City. The popularity of the series, particularly in the UK, led to several hit records and live concert tours by the cast. Despite its success, very few of the actors maintained high-profile careers after the series was cancelled. A number of the cast members were seen again briefly in Bring Back...Fame, a reunion special made for British television in 2008.

I Dream

A British children's musical television comedy programme aimed at and mostly about teenagers, which aired in 2004. It was set at an esteemed performing arts college near Barcelona, Spain, and focuses on 13 teenagers who are invited to enrol at the college, Avalon Heights, over the summer. All eight members of the pop group S Club 8 star in the show alongside five other young actors and actresses and Hollywood film actor Christopher Lloyd. The show has the members of S Club 8 playing supposedly exaggerated versions of themselves, albeit with identical names to their real life counterparts. Each episode of the show includes several songs and dance numbers involving both members and non-members of the band. Cast member George Wood called the show "a modern day Fame".

Kahit Nasaan Ka Man or Wherever You Are is a Filipino drama series broadcast by GMA Network starring Julie Anne San Jose, Kristoffer Martin and Lucho Ayala. It is set to premiere on September 23, 2013 replacing Anna Karenina on the network's primetime GMA Telebabad block and worldwide via GMA Pinoy TV on September 24, 2013.

Pangarap na Bituin

Pangarap na Bituin is a Filipino primetime TV series produced by ABS-CBN, which was aired on September 3, 2007 and ended November 9 that same year. The series was a regional semi-finalist for the 2008 International Emmy Awards under the Telenovela Program category. This is also the 2nd Highest rating Musical Primetime Series after 2006's Bituing Walang Ningning it was also considered a Sineserye because of its similar adaptation to the 1985 film Sana'y Wala Nang Wakas the movie and the TV series have different storylines but both stories revolve around a trio of female singers struggling to follow their dreams above animosities revolving the difficult world of showbiz trying not to break upon their bonds.

Un Paso Adelante was a Spanish TV drama similar to the American 1980’s TV series Fame. It was originally broadcast on Spanish channel Antena 3 from 2002 to 2005. It has also been a huge success in Spanish-speaking countries, in Germany, Italy, Serbia, Montenegro and in France. It began airing on Séries+ in Canada in 2011.

Little Star

Little Star is a Filipino drama series produced by GMA Network and TAPE Inc.. It stars Jennylyn Mercado, Mark Anthony Fernandez, Lovi Poe and Paolo Contis. This series is directed by Maryo J. Delos Reyes. The show premiered on October 25, 2010 in the Philippines and on October 28, 2010 on GMA Pinoy TV. The series concluded on February 11, 2011 and replaced by Nita Negrita. It ran for 16 weeks with 80 episodes in all.
