Norway knew nothing about oil and gas production when the international oil giants would explore the North Sea. But after the first oil discoveries on the Ekofisk field in the late 1960s, Norway has grown into a technological and economic power, mainly thanks to the black gold that is pumped up from the seabed. This series of five episodes tells the story of the Norwegian oil adventure.
