Recorded live in the Harvey Theatre at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, New York in 1997, Erykah Badu performs songs from her debut album ‘Baduizm’ for MTV Unplugged.

Queen: Queen I

Following on from the 2024 Queen I box set, the remix of Queen's 1973 debut album has been released in Dolby Atmos on a limited edition audiophile blu-ray audio. "This is not just a remaster, this is a brand new 2024 rebuild of the entire Queen debut album” said Brian May when announcing the release of the band’s revisit of their eponymous debut album late last year, retitled Queen I for this new version. May further elaborated: “Every instrument has been revisited to produce the ‘live’ ambient sound we would have liked to use originally.” With Brian May and Roger Taylor acting as executive producers, and overseen by Queen’s long-standing audio-production team of Justin Shirley-Smith, Joshua J Macrae and Kris Fredriksson, this enhanced spatial surround sound format release breathes stunning new life into the band’s epic and unique multi-layered sound.

18 Heartbeats: Recording Live

Ansh and Kavya chase the theory of 18 Heartbeats, a journey that fades into silence, only to be rediscovered a decade later by a college professor amidst a rising student protest.

Quintessence

In winter 2023, the Spiral Spectrum project began by filming this video. The music was recorded in autumn of that year, and its first name was The Quintessence of Nostalgia. In editing process, the poem (Am Wolkenstieg song by empyrium) was also added to the music. This is a part of that poem translated into English: "Silent, softly floating Yearning to go out, out! Where summits darken and heavy On the cloud path over pale."

Ballo Ballo

Antic Meet

Performed like a series of vaudeville scenes that overlap, Antic Meet consists of ten playful and comedic numbers. The curtains opened with Cunningham moving among the other dancers as a clown-like figure "who falls in love with a society whose rules he doesn't know," and concludes much in the same way, as he attempts to keep up with the dancers, each with their own movements, as they dance diagonally across the stage. Cage provided the musical accompaniment, using a version of Concert for Piano and Orchestra, and Rauschenberg designed the costumes, which included fur coats and parachute dresses over black leotards.

Kovala

The paths of Demir, an idealistic advertising writer approaching his 40s, and a rap enthusiast Dagra, who is in his 20s somehow cross. Together they embark on an interesting road to regain their lost respect for life.

Rinkaku

Once again animator Keita Kurosaka was enlisted to create a hand drawn music video, that in many regards is much less shocking and grotesque than the previous collaboration, the infamous "Agitated Screams of Maggots".

Even their demise was glamorous; when lightning struck the stage during an outdoor festival. Twenty years on, these former rock gods they have now sunk deep into obscurity when the idea of a reunion tour is lodged in the head of Tony, former keyboard player of the Fruits. Tony sets out to find his former bandmates with the help of former manager Karen to see if they can recapture the magic and give themselves a second chance.

Alice Cooper - Road (Live at Hellfest 2022)

Live at Val de Moine,Clisson,France 24.6.2022. The setlist features hits from the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, all performed by the current band line-up. The filming is quite good and the BD features PCM stereo and 5.1 mixes as audio choices. Expect all the usual live show theatrics (including the guillotine) and great showmanship not only from Cooper himself, but the rest of the band. You would expect an artist at this stage of his career to be on the decline, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Of course, the “band” is a joy to watch as well, especially Glen Sobel (drums) and Nita Strauss (guitar) – two virtuosos on their respective instruments. They add so many subtle intricacies into the music without overstepping Cooper’s vocals. But when the time is theirs in the spotlight, they shred/jam with authority and conviction – absolute professionalism at the highest level in rock music.
