Vocation is a documentary on artists who knew from a very early age they wanted to be an artist. A decision that for them was instinctual and some may even say it is 'a calling' based on faith and perhaps even fate alone. Artists Andy Jones, Deepa Mehta, Marie Brassard, Christopher Pratt, Brad Peyton and Bif Naked are committed to creating work in theatre, literature, music, film and performance based on an innate desire to succeed while working in the precarious profession of art.

American Hardcore

Inspired by Steven Blush's book "American Hardcore: A tribal history" Paul Rachman's feature documentary debut is a chronicle of the underground hardcore punk years from 1979 to 1986. Interviews and rare live footage from artists such as Black Flag, Bad Brains, Minor Threat, SS Decontrol and the Dead Kennedys.

Meduza follows Ukrainian artist-turned-sniper Pavlo Aldoshyn from the first days of the war in 2022. Throughout the film, Pavlo's inner life connects to a range of stories around the globe, including a Japanese widower searching the ocean for his wife, and an Amazonian tribesman describing the loss of a mythical ladder uniting earth and sky.

A Dream of Warsaw

Czeslaw Niemen, who died ten years ago, was an icon for several generations of Poles. In Poland under communism he managed to raise popular music to the rank of true art; he also won renown abroad. He was born in 1939 in Stare Wasiliszki (today's Belarus) and his biography was largely shaped by the tempestuous history of this part of Europe. The film is a portrayal of the charismatic musician, made up of unique archive materials and reminiscences of his family and friends.

The Passions of Vaughan Williams

Fifty years after his death, this musical and psychological portrait of Ralph Vaughan Williams explores the passions that drove a giant of 20th-century English music.

UPFALL

A Story of Love, Loss & Rebirth through a Musical Journey. Rachel Andie tells her story of Love, Loss and Rebirth in a feature length visual album, complimenting her music album, "Tu Me Manques." As the story winds through a few years of her life in Philadelphia, her essence is captured both on and off the stage. The co-director, Skyler Jenkins, has been a friend of Rachel's since he moved into Philadelphia, always living a block away; since he was so close to her, he was able to capture a very authentic and intimate look into this artist's life. The visual album was released in 2022 on YouTube, each week a new visual is released, along with a part of the story.
