In 2011, Elvis Costello and the Imposters set out on The Revolver Tour and, for the first time in 25 years, once again allowed his set-list to be chosen by "The Spectacular Spinning Songbook," a monumental game-show type wheel spun by select fans and featuring songs from his latest critically acclaimed release National Ransom, plus new renditions of hits, rarities and very unexpected covers. This is the complete concert from the 12th May, including special guest appearance from The Bangles.

Among the most inventive and influential bands in the history of popular music, 10cc are one of the very few acts to have achieved commercial, critical and creative success in equal measure. In 1974, Lol Creme and Kevin Godley of 10cc invented a nifty little musical device that should have revolutionized the guitar world. The Gizmotron® was an attachable device that had the ability to create “authentic sounds of such stringed instruments as violins, violas and cellos,” and maintain “infinite sustain.” It was a remarkable invention by any standards and should have achieved what it said on the can and made much moolah for its inventors. Sadly, it hasn’t yet. Acoustic in Concert is the sixth live album by Scottish rock band Simple Minds, released in June 2017. On the eve of the Acoustic album release on 11 November 2016, Simple Minds took to the stage at London's Hackney Empire to perform a special show for the BBC's Radio 2 In Concert series. The show comprised acoustic versions of some of their greatest hits and best-loved tracks along with cover versions of some of the songs that shaped them. The Hackney Empire show was recorded and broadcast by the BBC in association with Eagle Vision to be released in its own right as Acoustic in Concert several months later (in June 2017) on CD, DVD and Blu-ray formats.
