Dicks-A-Thon

Conceived as a challenge between twin brothers, the Dick’s-A-Thon has grown into Seattle’s premiere marathon event. Participants must run to five different locations of the iconic Dick’s Drive-In and eat something off the menu, like burgers, fries or shakes, at each stop. Dick’s-A-Thon is the origin story of a wacky run that has evolved into a beloved race with 650 participants, a fundraiser and a memorial to one of its mountaineering founders.

Gay Positive

Gay Positive is the story of one man trying to bring to attention the outdated ban on gay men donating blood in the United States of America. This documentary is meant to inform and educate people on this controversial issue. A woman who recently received her nursing degree presents facts that could suggest that in order to keep our blood supply clean and abundant, we must update our current screening process for potential donors. By taking the camera to the streets, Gay Positive captures the opinions of people from many walks of life regarding how they feel about the ban today. One of the questions posed was, "If you were in need of a blood transfusion and the donor was healthy, would it concern you if this generous individual was a gay male?" Recent history proves that when tragedy strikes, donor centers are often in short supply and struggle to meet demand. The ban forces organizations such as The Red Cross to reject willing, disease-free, healthy individuals.

Winner of the IFFR Supershort competition. ROFFA is a Short film about love and the many forms it comes in. The film is a love letter to the diverse city of Rotterdam and the acceptance of different religions, sexualities and upbringings.

Mondo Homo: Inquiry Into 70's Gay French Porn

Between 1975 and 1983 a new kind of film could be seen in French cinema: home-grown gay pornography. They were essentially the work of three production companies: Les Films de La Troika (Norbert Terry), AMT Productions (Anne-Marie Tensi) and Les Films du Vertbois (principally Jacques Scandelari). The genre met an untimely end with the advent of video, the last being made in 1983 'Mon Ami, Mon Amour (My Friend, my Lover)'.
