The Sixth Side of the Pentagon

Chris Marker and François Reichenbach document the massive anti–Vietnam War protest held in Washington, D.C., on October 21, 1967, where more than 100,000 demonstrators gathered at the Lincoln Memorial before marching on the Pentagon. Filmed amid the crowd, the short captures the tension, idealism, and growing radicalism of the American peace movement.

Illusion

In the original concept of the film as a computer game, the author presents a personal reportage from Budapest, where she spent a year as a student. The viewer, who takes on the role of a participant in the game, passes through several levels that introduce him to everyday moments touching on sensitive points of contemporary Hungarian society: he sees the capital through the eyes of a tourist, but mostly he is forced to reflect from the subjective perspective of Hungarian citizens on freedom of art, the right to education, the issue of medical care and the complex and controversial political situation in which the name of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is repeatedly invoked.

America: Freedom to Fascism

This is a documentary about an honest search for the truth about the Federal Reserve Bank and the legality of the Internal Revenue System. Through extensive interviews with recognised experts and authority, the director shows an astonishing revelation of how the Federal Government and the Bankers have fooled the American public by taking thier wages and putting it in the pockets of the super-rich.

The Hole’s Journey

A worn-out floor, the hole underneath, a political activist, and the Ouled Sbita tribe are the protagonists in this political satire. For 23 years, the director’s chair at an international art institute scratched the wooden floor. This 102cm x 120cm floor section is cut out and sent to an expropriated piece of land in Morocco. In The Hole’s Journey, Ghita Skali uses sharp wit, personal stories and playful editing to touch on specific power dynamics and freedom of choice.

Cascade

After a close friends suicide; Will, a Punk and Post-Punk musician living in the US is struggling with doubts about his relationship, his identity and ultimately what he wants to do in life. Will becomes isolated, reliant on substances and is sent down a path of pain, suffering and existential terror.

McLibel

McLibel is a documentary film directed by Franny Armstrong for Spanner Films about the McLibel case. The film was first completed, as a 52 minute television version, in 1997, after the conclusion of the original McLibel trial. It was then re-edited to 85 minute feature length in 2005, after the McLibel defendants took their case to the European Court of Human Rights.

Rot

Gutter punks shouldn't play with dead things...or have sex with them. When Sarah (Tiffany Stinky) screws a corpse in the local funeral home she gets the "ROT," a deadly, flesh-eating virus that soon infects her punk rock boyfriend Muzzy (Billy Scam). Realizing they are doomed to rot alive together, Sarah and Muzzy set out on a nihilistic rampage, spreading ultra-violence and the virus in their chaotic wake. As the plague of rotting flesh rages out of control, the FBI, secretive government agencies and Dr. Robert Olsen (Joel D. Wynkoop), the deranged scientist who created the "ROT", become involved, making everything far worse for the citizens of Sunnyville, Florida.
