The Bolshoi

Turning into a prima will require incredible self-denial, and Yulya herself will have to make sure that the big ballet is not only the whiteness of the packs, the gold of the boxes and the slip of silk ribbons. Tere Liye

Prem, Raj, Priya, and Deepak were inseparable friends, bound by years of laughter and memories. However, beneath their friendship, unspoken feelings lingered. Raj was deeply in love with Priya and hoped to confess his feelings, believing she felt the same. One evening, Raj finally gathered the courage to tell Priya how he felt. She listened quietly, her eyes full of emotion, and then gently said, "Raj, I care for you deeply, but my heart belongs to someone else." Raj was heartbroken but asked, "Who is it?" Priya hesitated before admitting, "It's Deepak." Deepak, who had no idea of Priya's feelings, was stunned when Raj revealed the truth to him. In the end, Tere Liye became a story not just about romantic love but about the love that keeps friendships alive through honesty, understanding, and acceptance.

Mario

Set during summer in the Îles-de-la-Madeleine of Quebec, Mario and Simon are two brothers living in a fishing village with their mother, who runs a grocery story, and their father, who runs a fishing business. Mario is ten years old, mute and autistic. He is withdrawn from reality and living in a surreal world that only his older brother Simon and his stuffed coyote share. Mario is very close with and deeply admires his 18 year old brother, whom he depends upon for love and attention. Simon reads Arabian Knights stories to Mario, dresses him in sheik's clothing and they play out imaginary wars in an Arabian style fortress that they built. Everything changes when Helene, a beautiful young tourist comes between the two brothers. Simon falls in love and begins to neglect his brother to spend time with her. Mario feels rejected and discovers what hate and jealously are. He sets about a chain of events that lead to tragedy.

A man struggles to support his family while remaining true to his ideals in this drama set in Europe during the 1930s. With Mussolini on the rise, Orfeo and Nella come to the conclusion that they are no longer welcome in their native land, and they decide to pull up stakes and move to America with their two children. As a result of some confusion en route, the Mancinis end up in Marseilles rather than the United States; needing work, Orfeo takes a job working as a manual laborer for a wealthy landowner. This requires a serious amount of pride-swallowing on Orfeo's part, since his new boss is an Italian expatriate who once courted Nella. The situation becomes all the more difficult for Orfeo when his employer throws his allegiances behind the growing fascist movement.
