Bantu is a ten year old boy who lives in a small town and enjoys spending time with his teenage friend Avneesh, who flies kites with the youngster and lets him tag along as he works on his motorcycle and explores the village. Avneesh goes to the local bazaar nearly every day, and Bantu discovers it's because a certain pretty girl can usually be found there. Avneesh is deeply infatuated with the girl he's nicknamed "Mrityu" ("Death") but he has trouble working up the courage to talk to her, so he asks Bantu to pass her a message.
