Ramos used boxes lled with soil built according to the following instructions: ‘It is now time to say something about the causes of earthquakes. It is easy for a natural philosopher to reproduce their manifestations. One takes twenty- ve pounds of iron llings, an equal amount of sulphur, and mixes it with ordinary water, buries this paste one or one-and-a-half feet underground and compresses the earth firmly above it. After several hours, a dense vapour is seen rising; the earth trembles, and ames break forth from the soil.’
Emir is sleeping at his girlfriend Seren's house. Seren wakes Emir up and tells him that she is going to the hairdresser. Emir does not want to be alone because he was kidnapped in the past. He tries to convince Seren to stay with him, but he fails. Shortly after Seren leaves the house, Seren's neighbor Eren appears at the door. Emir remembers the voice of Eren. Eren is the person who kidnapped Emir in the past. Emir waits for Seren in fear. Seren comes back after a while. But Eren never acts suspicious. Seren tells Emir that he was not kidnapped, that they were all in his head, that he had suspected others before, and that they could no longer see them. The reason they couldn't see them is that Emir himself kidnaps the people he thinks kidnapped him. And his last victim is his neighbor Eren.

Basically this is a commercial for Hollywood's Lido Lounge and for MGM contract players. The Lido is a large watering hole; we visit one afternoon with an orchestra playing, all sorts of stars and would-be stars sitting at tables near the pool alongside paying customers, and bathing beauties parading and diving. The Lido's manager, Reggy Denny, introduces the stars in the audience. He's sometimes interrupted by someone who does a bit, sings a song, or otherwise entertains: most of these are novelty acts. By the end, everyone's having a swell time.

Cute chorus girls attend to the many male customers, and the girl the young man was following is revealed to be the dentist. She gives the young man anesthetic gas and he dreams the dentist and her troupe of nurses are dancing on the ceiling.
