Booka Shade cap off their 150-show world tour with a live concert DVD. Movements – The Tour Edition is out early next month. The CD/DVD package includes a CD version of Booka Shade’s 2006 album ’Movements’ alongside a DVD titled We Came To Dance, the centrepiece of which is a live concert filmed at Belgium’s Pukkelpop Festival on August 18th, 2007. The show features the usual Booka hits ‘Body Language’, ‘Mandarine Girl’ and ‘In White Rooms’ as well as two previously unreleased tracks, ‘We Came To Dance’ and ‘Monkey On My Deck’. Journey through the music videos and short films from Jimmy Cauty and Bill Drummond in their various guises as The JAMs, The KLF and The Timelords, one of the most successful and subversively creative electronic bands of the early 90s.
Official music video for “Wendy (Remix)”, the electronic reinterpretation of the Delta V track by Italian singer-songwriter Mao, released on 31 July 2026 as the closing chapter of the album “In fatti ostili RMX”. Mao’s remix holds the voice back for almost two minutes while the arrangement circles and expands, projecting the original songwriting into a nocturnal and rarefied space. Directed by Brussels-born, Montreal-based filmmaker Nicolas Fransolet and shot entirely in Tokyo, the film has no protagonist and no narrative. It follows the city through a single arc of hours, from daylight into night, moving inside the flow of streets, stations and suburbs. The images are observed rather than staged: what appears on screen is what happened in front of the lens. What emerges is the portrait of a place at once distant and familiar, where the vast scale of the metropolis and the smallness of individual gestures inhabit the same frame. Proximity and connection almost never coincide.

Elli works as a techno DJ and loves electronic music. She has a daughter named Toni, who mostly grows up with her father. The 9-year-old girl is only with her on weekends. They have planned a mother-daughter weekend, but suddenly Elli is offered an important gig at an electronic music festival. Finally playing in front of a big audience again, feeling the ecstasy and intoxication of the night. Through the music she escapes the stagnation, the desolation, the role model of the conventional mother and the narrowness of the provincial town. Torn between maternal missing her and asserting herself in her life, Elli tries to be there for Toni and at the same time to live her dreams without restrictions.
After a quarrel with her boyfriend on New Year's Eve, Mane drives her car from Mexico City to Cuernavaca to meet her parents in their country house. The car breaks down in the highway and Mane has to ask for help. Mechanic Cruci arrives and, after testing the car, offers Mane a ride on his motorcycle. Back in Mane's house, she invites him some drinks to celebrate New Year's Eve. They get drunk and, the morning after, Mane's parents arrive and find them sleeping together. Not knowing what happened, Mane and Cruci are forced to get married against their will.
