The fifth edition of Tomorrowland, in July 2009, was a very sunny and overwhelming success! A festival just like a fairytale, in an unique decor and not less than 90 000 exuberant visitors. The tremendous line up, with the special birthday headliner – Moby, made sure the sphere was overwhelming from the first till the last note. Who doesn’t want a memory of such a fantastic festival? Tomorrowland is the largest annual electronic music festival held in the world, taking place in Belgium. It used to be organized as a joint venture by the original founders together with ID&T. The festival takes place in the town of Boom, 16 kilometers south of Antwerp, 32 kilometers north of Brussels, and has been organized since 2005. Tomorrowland has since become one of the most notable global music festivals.

Tomorrowland: 2011

During the weekend of 22, 23 and 24 July 2011 (BELGIUM, ANTWERP, BOOM), more than 180,000 visitors attended one of the most beautiful and talked about festivals in Europe. The 7th edition of Tomorrowland was one that would never be forgotten. An amazing festival, a magic location, wonderful decor, more than 250 artists and in particular the best public in the world! 2019 marks the 15th anniversary of Boom, Belgium festival Tomorrowland, and its organizers have a lot planned for the milestone event. Among the special additions for this year's installment is "Symphony of Unity," an orchestral performance which will take place once during each weekend. "Symphony of Unity" is performed by The Metropole Orkest, who famously accompanied Hardwell onstage at his farewell performance in 2018. One 60-minute spectacle took place on July 21st, and the other on July 28th, 2019.

This Was Tomorrow

The year 2015 will be chronicled as magical, mythical and memorable. The People of Tomorrow experienced Tomorrowland on three continents this year. After celebrating the 10th anniversary in Belgium in 2014 and putting ashore in the United States, the third chapter of our magnificent fairytale was written in Brazil for the very first time.

Produced in Italy in breathtaking Technicolor, this biographical story of Puccini (played by L'avventura's Gabriele Ferzetti) spans his creative life from early student days to the height of success, including his early flop Madama Butterfly and his incomplete Turandot. Along the way he encounters three women who change his life, including a sexy, beautiful singer (Two for the Road's Nadia Gray) whom he drops for a small town girl (Sirocco's Marta Toren), and a servant girl who commits suicide over him. Well-selected excerpts from Manon, La Boheme, Madama Butterfly and Turandot are featured along with other Puccini music, including the voice of Beniamino Gigli. Sets, costumes and production values are first class, all sumptuously filmed by Claude Renoir.

Roughly chronological, from 3/96 to 11/96, with a coda in spring of 1997: inside compounds of Aum Shinrikyo, a Buddhist sect led by Shoko Asahara. (Members confessed to a murderous sarin attack in the Tokyo subway in 1995.) We see what they eat, where they sleep, and how they respond to media scrutiny, on-going trials, the shrinking of their fortunes, and the criticism of society. Central focus is placed on Hiroshi Araki, a young man who finds himself elevated to chief spokesman for Aum after its leaders are arrested. Araki faces extreme hostility from the Japanese public, who find it hard to believe that most followers of the cult had no idea of the attacks and even harder to understand why these followers remain devoted to the religion, if not the violence.
