Stones and Words

Stefano is a filmmaker commissioned to make a movie about the poet Rosanna Bertoja. The two discover they share an unusual interest: a passion for stones. Stefano feels he must start precisely from this strange affinity that unites them. The result is a portrait of a poet who is never seen writing verses: when poetry is discussed, it is done by talking about stones. Because, as Rosanna believes, poetry exists even without words.

Get Well Soon - SchwuZ, Berlin

An electrifying performance by German band Get Well Soon to celebrate the 74th Berlinale. Every year, the German capital hosts one of the world's biggest film festivals: the Berlinale. For the 74th edition, in February 2024, the band Get Well Soon—formed around singer-songwriter Konstantin Gropper—headlined the "ARTE Berlinale Party" music event, which took place at Schwuz, an iconic Berlin club. In addition to his studio albums, Konstantin Gropper has created the music for three episodes of the German series How to Sell Drugs Online (Fast). He also contributed to the soundtrack of Detlev Buck's film A Very Bad Plan (2020). His cinematic streak made his band the ideal candidate to rock the Berlinale.

Alice Cooper - Road (Live at Hellfest 2022)

Live at Val de Moine,Clisson,France 24.6.2022. The setlist features hits from the ‘70’s, ‘80’s and early ‘90’s, all performed by the current band line-up. The filming is quite good and the BD features PCM stereo and 5.1 mixes as audio choices. Expect all the usual live show theatrics (including the guillotine) and great showmanship not only from Cooper himself, but the rest of the band. You would expect an artist at this stage of his career to be on the decline, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Of course, the “band” is a joy to watch as well, especially Glen Sobel (drums) and Nita Strauss (guitar) – two virtuosos on their respective instruments. They add so many subtle intricacies into the music without overstepping Cooper’s vocals. But when the time is theirs in the spotlight, they shred/jam with authority and conviction – absolute professionalism at the highest level in rock music.
