S1NGULAR is a retro-psycho thriller about our sometimes narcissistic / sometimes solipsistic relationship to technology, ourselves and how we can evolve with it or succumb to its overreaching power.

Journalists Ichiro Sakai and Junko cover the wreckage of a typhoon when an enormous egg is found and claimed by greedy entrepreneurs. Mothra's fairies arrive and are aided by the journalists in a plea for its return. Mimic

A disease carried by common cockroaches is killing Manhattan children. In an effort to stop the epidemic an entomologist, Susan Tyler, creates a mutant breed of insect that secretes a fluid to kill the roaches. This mutant breed was engineered to die after one generation, but three years later Susan finds out that the species has survived and evolved into a large, gruesome monster that can mimic human form.

Year 2038: The mineral resources of the earth are drained, in space there are fights for the last deposits on other planets and satellites. This is the situation when one of the bigger mining corporations has lost all but one mineral moons and many of their fully automatic mining robots are disappearing on their flight home. Since nobody else wants the job, they send prisoners to defend the mining station. Among them undercover agent Stone, who shall clear the whereabouts of the expensive robots. In an atmosphere of corruption, fear and hatred he gets between the fronts of rivaling groups.

PYRAMID: Kaleidoscope Memories of Destruction

A film about Shin Sasakubo's childhood place Chichibu - home of Mt. This sacred mountain is blasted, even today, by large corporations who harvest limestone with dynamite. This film, a project by the art collective Chichibu Avant-Garde, and depicts memories of the destruction of Mt. Buko as if through a somato (Japanese revolving lantern) or kaleidoscope.

Mirai Mizue continues his experimentation with music and movement in his latest "cell animation," Tatamp. Not to be confused with the animation technique of "cel animation," Mizue’s unique style of "cell animation" is hand-drawn and colored on paper then scanned onto the computer for editing. The name refers to the fact that the creatures that he draws resemble amoeba and other minute organic creatures one might find under the lens of a microscope.
