Epica: Retrospect: 10th Anniversary

The band announced on their official website that on March 23, 2013, they would celebrate the 10th anniversary of Epica in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The concert which would be called Retrospect, would be held in Klokgebouw with a 70-piece orchestra, choirs, international guests and many special effects. The band invited the Hungarian Remenyi Ede Chamber Orchestra and the Choir of Miskolc National Theatre to this show as they were the same orchestra that accompanied Epica in the recording of the live album The Classical Conspiracy.

Lulu Santos - MTV ao Vivo

There are only a few artists who are able to get away with performing the same songs over and over again. One of the best examples might be The Rolling Stones. Brazil also has a few of those selected musicians. Like Lulu Santos. Not long after his MTV Acústico project, in which he performed his major hits in the suggested acoustic setting, he's back again with another MTV live recorded album. This time with his regular tour band, and again performing some of his most successful songs. A strange phenomenon is that the acoustic hit collection sold 745,000 copies, while in no time this MTV Ao Vivo album already sold the 60,000 copies necessary to receive a gold album. Strange, because the studio album in between, the very good piece of work called Bugalu (2003), did not succeed the 51,000 figure (so far). It seems people can't get enough of listening to the songs they grew up with!

John Fogerty: Comin' Down the Road

John Fogerty returns to the Royal Albert Hall for the first time in 37 years - he previously performed there with Creedence Clearwater Revival in 1971. John and band perform a lengthy set - over an hour and forty minutes - in the classic venue, covering all phases of John's career, including standouts such as "Born On The Bayou," "Old Man Down The Road," "Proud Mary," "Fortunate Son" and "Rockin' All Over The World." Also included is the previously unreleased track "Comin' Down The Road." John's stellar band includes longtime bandmates such as Kenny Aronoff (drums), Billy Burnette (guitar) and Jason Mowery (fiddle, mandolin and lap steel). In 2013 a psychiatric clinic which served for more than 50 years caring for patients in Mexico City was demolished. A few months before its demolition, four young men came to investigate the clinic, determined to discover the truth about rumors of strange and paranormal events, recording everything with which they encounter. Today, the whereabouts of these four young men are unknown, remaining only fragments of their recordings.
