Compilation of 18 animated short films made by Spanish-speaking artists from around the world for the Filmoteca Maldita Short Film Festival. This collection contains very diverse works, both in technical and thematic aspects, although they all share a genuine spirit of dedication and creativity.

AGUSTINA (30) reflects on the value of the time of those who hold a household together through care work and informal labor. Her journey leads her into the stories of ROSANA (62), who is unable to retire, and ZULMA (60), who was forced into debt to achieve it.

Ángel and Kimberly, two children affected by migration, turn a parked van into an imaginary vessel to go look for their friend Sofía, who returned to her homeland, Colombia. In this space between reality and fantasy, they build their sense of identity, belonging, and friendship amid uprooting.

As he goes through the motions in an alcoholic daze, he gradually comes to realize that the wreck was due to criminal negligence and failure to follow mandatory safety regulations.

Burning Heads
