EPHEMERAL LOVE: Austria, 1888. Crown Prince Rudolf is bored with the ostentatious royal life in the Austrian court. During a performance of “Hamlet,” Rudolf meets Marie Vetsera, the daughter of Baron Vetsera, the wealthiest man in Vienna. Marie is instantly infatuated with the prince, and they continue meeting in secret. When the emperor learns that Rudolf has petitioned the Pope for a divorce from Princess Stephanie, he flies into a rage and orders Rudolf and Marie to part. This musical play is based on the first act of Goethe's Faust. The angel Mephistopheles is condemned to fall from heaven after committing a sin. He is told that he can only return to heaven if he can bring a human being on the path of salvation. Mephistopheles refuses, believing that man is inherently evil. Vowing to drag a human down to hell along with him, he descends onto Earth and sets his sights on a man named Faust, an aged professor with no will to live.

Amidst the glitz and glamor of top chefs from around the world coming together for this event, we find Hong Xing-xing, a brilliant, three-star master chef at the Shanghai-based chain restaurant “Golden Star Group.”Suddenly, a woman appears and says she must speak with Hong. That woman is Eileen Chow, who runs a restaurant in Paradise Market, where Hong intends to build his theme park. She has come here to tell Hong, right to his face, that the hawker centre, the street stall district her ancestors struggled to build up, will not be handed over to him. Hong pays this no heed, but with his mood hurt the contest itself is forced to be postponed. Eric, the CEO of Golden Star Group and Hong’s mentor, is shocked by Hong’s arrogance, and comes to a momentous decision...

A young man raised in an orphanage receives special education for gifted children on the piano in preparation for taking place in an international contest. However, because of the stress and pressure, he passes out while performing for the final screening. Because of this trauma, he no longer can go near the piano. When that boy collapses in a park, he's rescued by a man. The months and years pass, and the two have become acknowledged members of a certain underground conglomerate. One day the young man is involved in a drive by shooting and loses his memory, then turns back to the piano and begins to perform beautifully..... A musical in which the protagonist is wrapped in trauma, that follows him until he is determined to search for his path in life, with his friend as an axis, and the distractions of his feelings for the many women he loses his heart to.
