A Hungarian family forced to flee the Communist country for the United States must leave a young daughter behind. Six years later, the family arranges to bring the absent daughter to the United States where she has trouble adjusting. The daughter then decides to travel to Budapest to discover her identity.

One hundred and first senator

Senator Fromm summoned to court, as it became known that he was involved in the Bobbi Beykera, the Secretary of the Democratic majority in the Senate. He is accused of stealing money from the fund of the party of bribing senators, blackmail, in tax evasion and other fraud. Investigation of the case of Senator Fromm leads the FBI. Parallel to this matter do Fromm's secretary and progressive journalist, her friend. They got incriminating documents closely related to senators in politics. But FBI agents taking care of the honor of politicians, millionaires do their best to hush up the case, and removed out of the way of those who want to tell people the truth.

The Annunciation

The Annunciation (in Hungarian: Angyali üdvözlet) is a Hungarian film directed by András Jeles in 1984, based on The Tragedy of Man (1861) by Imre Madách. When Adam (Péter Bocsor) and Eve (Júlia Mérő), having succumbed to Lucifer's temptation, are cast out of the Garden of Eden, Adam holds Lucifer (Eszter Gyalog) to his promise, reminding him that "You said I would know everything!". The film, taking place in 1950, presents the story of Father Leopold and the monks of his order struggling to once again revive Christianity in a country trying to scrape itself together after the war. Initially, the communist powers do not hinder their work, and the Church was even able to regain possession of holy objects hidden during the war. This "peaceful" state does not last long. Father Leopold is arrested on trumped up charges, and in order to break him, he is subjected to cruel torture. His former student, Lieutenant Keller, who turned his back on religion and now believes in the socialist system, is appointed - upon the command of Major Fyodorov - to extract a confession of guilt. But the Father's perseverance and resistance changes everything.

The last moments of two people who, in the midst of historical storms, inhumanity and loss of values, remained together in the strange grip of love and dependence.
