Singer and musician Petr Ulrych celebrated his 70th birthday in February this year, his sister Hana celebrated her 65th birthday a month later, and together they have been playing and singing for an incredible fifty years. Add to that forty years since the birth of their band Javory and the fifth anniversary of the younger Javory Beat, and there is reason to celebrate several significant anniversaries of a unique musical legend! The Ulrych siblings will commemorate all these anniversaries with a concert by Javory and Javory Beat at the Mahen Theater in Brno, which will be broadcast by Czech Television.
In February 2017, Journey went to Japan for a special show at Tokyo’s Budokan that featured a complete performance of 1981’s Escape and 1983’s Frontiers at the request of legendary Japanese concert promoter Mr. Udo in honor of his 50th anniversary in the business. “There’s a few songs I don’t even recall playing, like [the Frontiers track] ‘Troubled Child,” Journey guitarist Neal Schon told Rolling Stone at the time. “Digging back into that stuff has been a lot of fun.”

Bob Marley and the Wailers entered the newly refurbished Tuff Gong Studios on May 1, 1980 to rehearse songs for the upcoming Uprising tour which starts June 1, 1980 in München, Germany. A film crew is at the rehearsal to film footage for a JBC documentary on Bob Marley and Tuff Gong. Much of the rehearsal was captured on film, and it has become legendary footage.
The Falcom jdk Band's 2013 New Years Live performance recorded and filmed on the 5th of January 2013 in Nihonbashi Mitsui Hall and broadcasted live on the internet and is now available as a Blu-Ray. This concert features music from Falcom video games such as Ys I and II Chronicles, The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC, Ys vs. Sora no Kiseki Alternative Saga and Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim.
