Welcome to the disappearing little world of Anders Grau. There are limits to how much can happen when any thought or event can grow to fill your entire head. But in the tiny stories there are huge adventures hiding.
Denmark's Stokkefar is now ready with his third and funniest one-man show to date. This also marks the end of the trilogy, which tells the story of one of the country's most popular, beloved and award-winning comedians. (Did he write this himself?...shut up!).
It's been over two years since we last spoke, and boy has a lot happened! The pandemic is over, Europe is at war and Thomas has been diagnosed with high cholesterol. Not only that, but he also has involuntary urination, has started watching reality TV, has been to Noma, got a new bathroom, and he's starting to think that maybe he's halfway through life, and has everything really turned out as it should? What's the point! Is he the best version of himself? Is society?!!! SHOULD EVERYTHING REALLY BE SO MUCH BETTER?!?!? OH MY GOD!!! Wait!!! Isn't it better that we just get together and have a laugh about it all? And oh yeah... I guess he's a father too.
Talegaver Til Børn celebrated its 15th anniversary in December 2007 with three sold-out shows at Forum. The FBI's annual charity show was produced in collaboration with Unicef. For 15 years, between Christmas and New Year's Eve, people have been able to laugh for a good cause in the company of the country's best stand-up comedians, and the 2007 shows definitely lived up to the success of previous years.
In spring 2016, Christian Fuhlendorff is ready with a new one-man show, “It doesn't matter what others think, right?”, which this time emphasizes fun over an actual theme. But then again, maybe the theme is that it just has to be hilarious!
